WSSU Students Participate in Museum of History Celebration
In addition to more than 75 presenters ranging from musicians to award-winning authors and storytellers to dancers, this year's festival will also salute the contributions of the state’s historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). North Carolina has 11 HBCUs, the largest number of any state in the nation, and all of them will be represented at the festival.
The Cultural Celebration will highlight the contributions of African Americans to North Carolina through presentations in six categories that encompass culture and history. The event is free and the presentations will be held in various locations throughout the museum. For a complete schedule of all activities, go to www.ncmuseumofhistory.org <http://www.ncmuseumofhistory.org> .
