Welcome to The Academic Advancement Center (AAC)! The Center strives to actively promote student learning, development, and success by providing services that assist students to identify, clarify, and achieve their lifelong educational goals in a welcoming, enriching, responsive, and effective environment.

As first year students you are paired with a faculty member who serves as your pre-major advisor.  In addition, you are also connected with professional advisors in AAC and other staff members who provide a supportive network for your success. You will be assisted in finding appropriate resources, both in UCaLL and throughout the campus community, to determine the best path toward meeting your personal and professional goals.

Your success is our goal! Please get to know your professional and faculty advisors by connecting with them on a regular basis - not just to process their registration, but to discuss any problems, concerns, or questions that you might have about life and studies at WSSU.

You call, we answer!
