Collegiate Learning Assessment (CLA+)
What is the assessment? CLA+ measures analytic reasoning, problem solving, critical thinking and written communication skills among others. The CLA+ can take up to 90 minutes, and it is completed online in a proctored setting. To learn more, visit the CLA website.
Who can complete the assessment? A list of eligible students is compiled by IAR each semester. For spring 2016, eligible students are seniors with fewer than 30 transfer hours and 90 or more credit hours who also have SAT/ACT scores on file.
When is the assessment offered? Start times are listed to indicate when students may begin the assessment, and students should allot two hours from their start time to complete the CLA+. Eligible students have been notified of the available start times. Any assistance you can provide in recruiting students would be greatly appreciated!
