Major and Planned Giving
There are a number of ways to include Winston-Salem State University in your long-range financial planning and to provide a gift that continues to help the university for years to come. Use of these vehicles can help optimize your assets and lower the impact of estate taxes. Examples include:
- Making a bequest to WSSU from a will or a living trust, either a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate
- Establishing a charitable gift annuity, providing payments to you during your lifetime with the balance of the annuity going to WSSU at your death
- Endowing an Academic Scholarship or Distinguished Professorship
