Technology Initiative
If you are bringing your laptop from home...
You are required to register your laptop online. This will assist us in preparations to support you with any technology needs that may arise with your laptop. To register your laptop, you will need:
- Your Banner ID
- Brand (Dell, Apple, HP, Acer, etc)
- Model Name (Pavilion, Optiplex, iPad2, MacBookPro, etc)
- Serial Number (76487-699-0475973-23965, for example) The serial number can usually be found on the bottom of the laptop or under 'My Computer - Properties' or 'About This Mac'
- Operating System (Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, etc)
If you are purchasing a laptop...
WSSU in collaboration with Follette Bookstore is offering two brands of laptops at discounted prices - HP and Lenovo. Choose one of the ten options. Prices range from $389 to $849. You can view and/or print a listing of the options by clicking on the brand name. Click HP or Lenovo to view options.
Remember: The purchase cost of your computer will be included in your student bill for fall 2012.
