What Is The Job Location and Development Program?
The Hire-a-Ram Student Employment Program is a federally funded service sponsored by Winston-Salem State University's Office of Career Development Services. The goal of the program is to assist WSSU students in obtaining off-campus part-time, temporary or seasonal employment while attending the University. The Student Employment Program manager develops and maintains a listing of part-time and temporary positions submitted by local businesses and industry. Students can visit our on line recruiting system to view your job postings. Students contact the employer to apply for job openings.

We invite employers to register with our Hire-a-Ram Student Employment Program! Participating employers have access to a pool of qualified, eager, ready-to-work candidates. Non-University employers may advertise their local positions by utilizing RAMTRAK, our online job database. Employers may post Part-time, Seasonal, and Full-time/non-degreed positions for our students.
