Design of Center
The Winston Salem State University Biomedical Research Infrastructure Center (BRIC) is located in the shared Piedmont Triad Community Research Center (PTCRC) facility in the Piedmont Research Park. The Center is designed to foster opportunities for interdisciplinary interactions among WSSU researchers, their collaborating institutions and WSSU students in order to facilitate the integration of teaching and research. The Center consists of 8 active laboratories and five office spaces. Five laboratories have NIH funding while two labs Have NIH projects pending. A CORE lab space has been designated for multi-users.
