Anna "Katy" Lack, Ph.D.
Dr. Lack is a Teacher-Scholar Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biology at Wake Forest University. She is associated with the Undergraduate Neuroscience TRAining Cooperative (UNTRAC), a federally funded program between Winston Salem State University and Wake Forest University to bring underrepresented minorities into the Neuroscience minor at Wake Forest. Any student interested in this program can contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org. She is also doing research with Dr. Azeez Aileru where she is studying the differences in angiotensin receptors in the hippocampus of normotensive and hypertensive rats. She is determining protein differences in angiotensin 2 receptors (AT1 and AT2) and the angiotensin 1-7 receptor (Mas). She will also be using electrophysiology to determine if angiotensin 2 modulates LTP in the hippocampus.
