Bringing Eminent Scientific Knowledge to WSSU

Because of BRIC-RIMI funding, WSSU is able to invite leading scientists from across the country to WSSU to present their research to faculty and students. The seminar series has been vital in stimulating the interest of students and faculty in biomedical research - enhancing the overall scientific and intellectual environment of the science disciplines at WSSU. The symposium has also provided an important platform for students and faculty to present their findings to the WSSU community and beyond.
