Profile
Dr. Byrd has been a social work educator since 1998. At Winston-Salem State University, Dr. Byrd is responsible for the coordination of the Social work Field (Internship) Program. She is also the instructor for both the Introduction to Social Work and Field Seminar courses. Dr. Byrd's publications and research interests are adult and child mental health and social work pedagogy.
