A  Man Giving A Speech

The minor program in speech communication (at least 18 semester hours) provide students with experiences and training in public, intercultural, and interpersonal communication, and an awareness of the impact of nonverbal communication on meaning and interpretation. It contributes to the emotional and intellectual development of students by providing opportunities for creative self-expression. The program provides experiential learning activities that allow for the composition and delivery of oral communication projects to enhance student expression and creativity.
