Using the Profile System
Faculty profiles are now managed within the Cascade Server system. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the Faculty Profiles. It is important that your profile is up to date because it is available to students and prospective students, colleagues and the administration.
First time users. To find out how to edit individual profiles or other information in the profile system, please see the Faculty Profile Instructions pages.
Returning users. Faculty members that already appear in the directory, may modify their profile by logging into our editing interface (using their WSSU ID and password) and easily update their information once access is granted. Our goal is a simple user experience that requires little instruction. Please note that edits you submit by clicking "submit" will not appear on the live website until they've been published by the administrator.
WSSU Faculty Profile Web Pages
Faculty profiles will provide up-to-date background on full-time faculty including their biography, educational background (degree, discipline), classes taught or currently teaching, current research projects and/or a list of publications. Faculty members will have the ability to add the following information to their profiles.
Faculty information stored includes:
- Office location
- Phone number
- Fax number
- Email address
- Resume/Curriculum Vitae
- Research Interests and Projects
- Honors, Awards & Professional Service
- Related links
- Additional Information
