Rams give back at Virginia elementary school

Winston-Salem State Rams football players aren’t just winning on the field, they’re also giving back.

The team, winners of the CIAA North Division, spent the morning meeting with children at Westside Elementary School in Roanoke, Virginia. The community service event was part of CIAA football championship weekend.

For the first time, the CIAA championship is being played in the Roanoke Valley. WSSU takes on Bowie State on Saturday at Salem Stadium.
