Food Lion restocks WSSU food pantry

Food Lion Feeds supports the WSSU Rams Helping Hands Food Pantry.

Food Lion Feeds is again supporting Winston-Salem State University students through donations to the Rams Helping Hands Food Pantry.

On Monday, Dec. 12, Food Lion associates restocked the pantry, located in Thompson Center, providing items such as cereal, mandarin oranges, granola bars, and other nutritious/healthy options. In February, Food Lion Feeds donated food and associates volunteered to stock the newly created pantry. Since the food pantry opened in February, more than 100 students have been served.
