Mister and Miss WSSU competing for CIAA crowns 2022

Now is your chance to support Miss Winston-Salem State University Hannah Joy Farmer and Mister Winston-Salem State University Jadavian King in their quest to become the next Miss and Mister CIAA.

You can vote for Miss WSSU and Mister WSSU online. Votes are unlimited.

Online voting will continue until 11:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 24, 2022.

Your vote will help to determine the winners of the competition who will be named  on Saturday, February 26 during “Super Saturday” at the Baltimore Convention Center.

All CIAA schools will be presented $2,000 to support hunger-relief initiatives in their CIAA community. Food Lion will also present the new Mister & Miss CIAA with $2,500 scholarships.

Farmer, a senior elementary education major with an emphasis on STEM, is from Fayetteville, North Carolina. King is a senior from Rocky Mount, North Carolina who is majoring in healthcare management.

They are both competing for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina, which celebrates its 40th year of feeding the community in the Winston-Salem area by providing access to nutritious food and addressing root causes of hunger.
