(CANCELED) Racing Ram Day @ Charlotte Motor Speedway – Featuring Rajah Caruth
The weather forecast calls for a 90% chance of rain on Saturday, May 27. It is likely that the Charlotte Motor Speedway will cancel the race, so WSSU has canceled the Alumni Tailgate.
If you are still interested in attending the race, please visit the Charlotte Motor Speedway website for updates. The race will now be held at noon. The Speedway will make the decision about canceling on Saturday morning.
WSSU will be happy to issue ticket refunds but request that you consider using the ticket funds to support our students. The proceeds from the ticket sales will be used for student scholarships.
We hope that you will all continue to support our Racing Ram Rajah Caruth!

It will be a long walk from the parking lots to the speedway, so we encourage fans to use the shuttle service. View Parking Map.
We encourage everyone to bring ear protection. Over-ear earmuffs are the most helpful in dampening the noise. We recommend a noise reduction rating of 28-32 decibels.
Please keep in mind the Charlotte Motor Speedway has a clear bag policy. Please review all entry protocols before arriving at the race. Charlotte Motor Speedway Track Policies.
Racing Ram Day at the Charlotte Motor Speedway is presented by the Winston-Salem State University Foundation.
