Virtual Campus Tour - Part II
Student Success Center at Hill Hall
One place you’ll be spending a lot of time is The Student Success Center at Hill Hall—the location of UCaLL (University College and Lifelong Learning) where you can meet with your advisor, access tutoring and writing support, and find out more about international programs and career development services.
You are now entering the Campus Core. When you leave Hill Hall and start strolling toward the residence halls you will see the WSSU Arches. This is where the Ramdition traditional “Through the Archway” ceremony happens. You will note Carolina Hall on your left and the historic campus bell on your right.
You will pass between two historic buildings on campus—S.G. Atkins House and Alumni House where many WSSU presidents and chancellors lived. Find out more about these buildings by checking out the Walk in Simon Green Atkins Footsteps tour. There is a Passport Office conveniently located in S.G. Atkins House.
Most first-year and transfer students live in Atkins, Brown, Covington, or Martin-Schexnider (MSX) residence halls. Move-In Days are always an exciting time for first-year and transfer students. Upperclassmen, faculty, and staff all turn out to help you move your things and get settled in your new home.
