The Associate Provost for Academic Strategy and Institutional Effectiveness works closely with academic deans, department chairs, program coordinators, and faculty leadership to articulate Program Level Outcomes for each functional area and Student Learning Outcomes for every academic degree program. Additionally, the primary responsibility in this role focuses on evaluating opportunities to onboard new degree programs consistent with the institution’s mission and strengths aligned with the university’s strategic plan. The Associate Provost for Academic Strategy and Institutional Effectiveness provides oversight of institutional assessment and research, the EAB Student Success Collaborative, the Center for Innovative and Transformative Instruction, select student success initiatives, faculty development, and other academic-related programs and special projects.
