Sub-Brand Logos
The university logo is the official mark of the Winston-Salem State University. Unit logos allow individual colleges, departments, centers, institutes, and administrative offices to identify themselves and their affiliation with the university.
All university academic and administrative departments must use the standard sub-brand logo as described below.
Custom logos are only permitted in under specific circumstances. All custom logos must meet a few basic design and usage standards and must be either created or approved by the Office of Integrated Marketing and Communications before implementation.
Examples of units that may use custom logos are:
- Faculty Senate
- Staff Senate
- Grant-funded special projects
- Special events
- Student organizations
