Dispute Resolution and Grievances

The University of North Carolina SHRA Employee Grievance Policy exists to allow for prompt, fair and orderly resolution of disputes arising out of employment.

The University allows EHRA non-faculty permanent employees to grieve lack of cause for dismissal or other disciplinary action, violation of first amendment rights, lack of notice for end of appointment, and prohibited harassment and discrimination.
