WSSU offers counseling support for any student who may need to talk with a professional confidential counselor on campus. The WSSU Counseling Center can assist you in addressing any emotional concerns you may have received as a result of a traumatic incident. You also have the option to contact off-campus support resources to address any concerns you may have.

Next Step Ministries provides an emergency/transitional safe house here in Forsyth County for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Trained staff or volunteers are on site at the safe house at all times when the house is occupied.
