Need a place to meet? The library has several spacious meeting rooms available for groups to use. Located on the first and third floor. Every meeting room features a screen, projector, and computer.

For individuals and small groups, throughout the library there are nine group study/meeting rooms and thirteen individual study rooms.

Individual Study Rooms

There are thirteen individual study rooms on the third floor, east and west wing of the library. They are designed for 1-3 people. No appointment is needed to use any of these rooms and they offer an opportunity for patrons to read or study in quiet.

(Electronic Classroom)

  • This space is typically used for library instruction. To request this space for reasons other than library instruction, please contact the Main Office, 336-750-2442.

(Library Board Room)

  • Food is allowed.

Reserving a Meeting Space

Rooms should be scheduled in advance by WSSU students, staff, and faculty. Consecutive reservations CAN NOT be made by students. It is on a first-come, first-served daily basis. Rooms can be booked for four (4) continuous hours or longer with special permission from the Library Director, in the Main Office.

University classes are not scheduled in the library to ensure that space is available for study and meetings.
