The C.G. O'Kelly Library creates an environment that supports and enhances all Winston-Salem State University programs. The staff instructs and assists users with all aspects of library services to foster and instill life-long learning. To facilitate success, library services provide access to a broad range of information resources:

Library Account - View or renew your checked out items, see if a requested item is on hold for you, and view unpaid fines.

Archives - Archives has many collections stored in digital formats that are accessible by computers as well as many collections that can be viewed in person.

Faculty Services - Those services most specifically related to helping faculty collaborate with the library, including library instruction. Faculty are encouraged to request a class session or talk to their library liaison about ways to help students find, evaluate and use information effectively.

Circulation Services

Course Reserves, Inter-library Loan, Textbooks, Laptops and more.

Equipment & Software

Offers a range of technical and practical systems including, but not limited to, print resources, laptop checkout and Ram Card loaders.

Information Commons & Research Assistance Desk

Check out headphones, cameras, help with printers and basic research questions are handled here.

Media Production Lab

The Media Production Lab, located on the Second Floor, West Wing, is your one-stop-shop for media-related projects.

Study & Meeting Rooms

Need a place to meet? Study and meeting rooms accommodate individuals looking for a quiet place to study as well as larger groups, regardless of their needs. Every meeting room features a screen, projector, and computer.
